Seven is built to be private by default. Everything you save — links, notes, images, videos, documents — is stored on your device. Nothing you save is visible to anyone else unless you explicitly make it public.
Your saves, tags, notes, collections, and profile live in the app's local storage on your iPhone. We have no servers of our own and cannot see any of it.
If you claim a handle, follow people, or make a space public, the following is published to Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) public database so friends can see it: your display name, handle, bio, avatar, the spaces you chose to make public, and preview thumbnails of the saves in them. You can make any space private again at any time, and deleting your account removes all of it.
We use Sign in with Apple only to recognize you on this device. Your Apple ID identifier is stored in the device Keychain and never leaves your device.
Settings → Delete account erases every save on your device and removes your profile, public spaces, pins, and follows from the public database. This cannot be undone.
You can report or block any user from their profile. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and content that violates our rules (spam, abuse, impersonation, illegal content) is removed and repeat offenders lose publishing access.
