Terms of Service

Effective August 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Seven iOS app and savetoseven.com (together, the “Service”), operated by Tally App LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using Seven, you agree to them. The short version: an account is optional, what you save is yours, there is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users in public spaces, and billing is handled by Apple.

1. Who can use Seven

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use Seven only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

An account is optional. Seven can be used entirely without one, in which case everything you save stays on your device and none of the published features in these terms apply to you. An account is required only to publish a profile or a room, to follow other people, or to see what they have published.

2. Your license to the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Seven on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law permits it despite this restriction.

3. Your content stays yours

You own everything you save to Seven. We claim no ownership over your saves, notes, tags, collections, or profile. Because private saves are stored on your device and never reach us, we could not use them even if we wanted to.

If you choose to publish a space or profile, you grant us and Apple’s CloudKit service the limited, worldwide, royalty-free license needed to host, display, and distribute that published content to other users of the Service and to viewers of your share links, solely to operate the features you invoked. This license ends when you make the content private again or delete your account.

You are responsible for what you save and publish. Save and share only content you have the right to use.

4. Community rules

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Publishing any of the content below, or behaving abusively toward another person using the Service, will result in the content being removed and the account being permanently ejected from the published features of Seven. Public spaces are moderated. When you publish content, you agree not to post:

We enforce these rules three ways. Published text is screened automatically on this device before it is published and again as it is received, and content that fails is not shown. You can report any published save from the save itself or by pressing and holding it, and report or block any person from their profile — blocking hides that person’s content from you immediately and also notifies us. Blocked accounts can be managed at any time in Settings → Blocked accounts.

Reports submitted in the app are reviewed within 24 hours. Content that violates these rules is removed and the account that published it is ejected — it is barred from publishing, and its existing profile, rooms, and saves stop being shown to anyone. Ejection is permanent for serious violations, including anything sexualising a minor, which is reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to copyright complaints consistent with the DMCA. If you believe published content on the Service infringes your copyright, email hello@savetoseven.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) the link to or location of the allegedly infringing content, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the rights holder. We will remove infringing content and, for repeat infringers, terminate publishing access. If your content was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are purchased through, billed by, and managed entirely by Apple via your App Store account:

7. The Service can change

Seven is under active development. Features may be added, changed, or removed, and we may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes to the terms, we will update this page and the effective date above, and note the change in the app where appropriate. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Termination

You can stop using Seven at any time. Deleting your account (Settings → Delete account) removes your published content and profile; if you use Seven without an account, Settings → Delete all data removes everything held on your device. We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service’s published features if you violate these terms, and will do so without notice where the violation is serious. Sections 3–5 and 9–14 survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content you save will never be lost. Keep backups of anything irreplaceable. Content published by other users is theirs, not ours, and we are not responsible for it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us through the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

Support and warranty are ours, not Apple’s. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Any claim that the app or your use of it infringes a third party’s intellectual property is ours to handle, not Apple’s. For questions or support, reach us at hello@savetoseven.com.

12. Export and sanctions compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to use the app only in compliance with all applicable laws, including export control laws.

13. Third-party services

Seven uses Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) to host anything you publish, Apple’s App Store for billing, and Google’s sign-in service if you choose that way in. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and you agree to comply with them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
